In early 2000’s technology was evolving quickly in the Retail Channel and these changes began to prohibit more and more companies from doing business with the big box stores as simply as they once did. As retailers began to adopt newer technologies, it became obvious that the success or failure of most brands would rely heavily on their ability to adhere to the strict and always changing compliance requirements. Every major retailer was different.
LCM invested heavily in technology and quickly became a “go to” solution for manufacturers who knew that the welfare of a product is intrinsically linked to the efficiency of its supply chain. Supply chain inefficiencies are simply too costly for major retailers to retain even the most innovative and best-selling products.
